Mill Valley Tickets
As you know, we have three films at the Mill Valley Film Festival this year. Be sure and get your tickets for the World Premiere of PRESQUE ISLE on Friday, Oct. 5, 7:15 PM at the CineArts Sequoia Theatre, 25 Throckmorton in Mill Valley, and its second screening at the Rafael, on Oct. 11, 9:15 PM, at the Christopher B. Smith Rafael Film Center in San Rafael, 1118 4th. St., downtown San Rafael.
Although officially sold out, the World Premieres on Saturday, Oct. 13 of USED, (7:15 PM) and GO TOGETHER (9:15 PM) also at the Christopher B. Smith Rafael Film Center might still be doable. My experience is that people change their minds and tickets get turned back in so call in from time to time. You can get lucky. Even if your luck fails, if enough people phone in they might put on another show.
Also, if you feel adventuresome come to the theatre. I’ll be outside well before the 7:15 show and either I or someone else will be out in front before the 9:15 show. Usually there are no-shows and therefore available tickets.
So I’m looking forward to my favorite film festival and I hope you’ll all come out to support our collaboration, now going on 30 years.
See you there.
Rob

loved your presentation at the san francisco film festival - - both YOU and your films are refreshingly down-to-earth, REAL and intelligent - - you remind me of my friend monte hellman who’s also a great guy as well as a director! - - i’m so looking forwared to presque isle having gotten a glimpse last spring!! - - every communication you put out feels like it was created/written just for me!

Hello Deanne,
Nice to hear such a beautiful endorsement. I’ll try to live up to it. And I remember TWO LANE BLACKTOP with fondness. It was one of the films we discussed back then when we were a film collective called Cine Manifest. I hear that Monte is still active, or at least was last time I heard. Greetings to him.
I’m hoping you like PRESQUE ISLE. It is quite different from what I’ve been doing recently so I’m approaching it with some curiosity. How will it compare with USED and GO TOGETHER in people’s minds? Be sure and give me an evaluation if you see them all.
Best,
Rob

Until now. ATTITUDE is one film in the 9 film 9 @ Night series which is finally completed, with the last two features (USED & GO TOGETHER) showing at the Mill Valley Festival on Oct. 13, at the Rafael Cinema in San Rafael. Harvard is then going to show all nine features over three nights (Nov. 17-19). After that we are going to open the films in the Bay Area in the late winter, early spring. Stay tuned!
